Senior Spotlight: Mia Queen

Mia Queen’s journey is one of growth, courage, and discovering passions she never expected. Having been part of our school community since 7th grade, Mia embraced every opportunity that came her way, especially the ones that pushed her outside her comfort zone!

Encouraged by SCA school to try new sports, Mia took a leap of faith and stepped onto the volleyball court, something she never imagined herself doing. That leap turned into a love for the game and an incredible achievement as Volleyball MVP of the DVCAC.

In the classroom, Mia has showed the same dedication and drive, completing six Dual Enrollment online courses through Liberty University, while preparing for her next chapter.

She has been accepted to Regent University in Virginia Beach, where she plans to study Finance and continue building a strong future for herself.

“This school encouraged me to try sports which, I would have never dreamed and I ended up loving it!”- Mia’s story is a reminder of what can happen when you say yes to new challenges. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next!
