Seaside Christian Academy is thrilled to announce its recent victory in the ShoreBirds Hit the Books contest, a collaborative initiative with The Brace Place! This community wide contest was designed to spark a passion for reading among students, while promoting literacy in a fun and engaging way. Our school stood out with an impressive redemption rate of over 49%, the highest in the entire program, winning the $1000 grand prize donation from the Delmarva Shorebirds, CFES fund.

The Shorebirds Hit the Books contest invited students to participate in a friendly reading challenge, encouraging them to delve into the exciting world of literature. By engaging with books actively, students not only discovered new stories but also developed their reading skills.
The academy's success was largely due to the involvement of dedicated families, and teachers, who supported their students throughout the contest. This collaborative approach significantly boosted reading participation, enhancing the overall educational atmosphere exemplifying SCA's missin statement, "Church, Home, School, working together."
Congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers for this remarkable accomplishment! The money will be utilized by SCA in an unrestricted giving fund to serve our students and team this upcoming year.
