Last night, our SCA families gathered at for a heartwarming holiday play that was full of fun, laughter, and a powerful message. The audience set sail on a festive cruise to Christmas Island aboard the luxurious Yuletide! But when nine passengers took a day trip on the SS Mango, an unexpected storm changed everything. Washed ashore on a deserted island, except for one surprising inhabitant, Johnny Coconut, the castaways discovered that rescue comes in the most unexpected ways.
Through this exciting story, we were reminded of the greatest rescue of all: the birth of Jesus Christ. Just like the castaways, we were lost and unable to save ourselves, but God sent His Son—the long-awaited Savior—to bring hope and salvation. Jesus is the reason for the season!
The evening featured special performances by our PK–3rd grade drama and music groups, who brought the stage to life with energy and joy, and the 4th–6th grade choir, whose beautiful voices filled the room with the sounds of Christmas. What a blessing to see our students share their gifts and talents for God’s glory!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening of fellowship, fun, and faith. What a beautiful way to celebrate the joy of Christmas together!
