This key gathering will take place on Wednesday, January 15th, at 5:30 PM at Seaside Christian Academy (SCA). All families and stakeholders are encouraged to join us in this vital conversation about our future. To help us prepare, please make sure to RSVP by January 6th.
Over the last 25 years, we have experienced numerous blessings. With God’s guidance, we look eagerly to the next 25 years and beyond. As we start this new chapter, we are dedicated to offering a clear overview of our growth plans and steps toward accreditation. Your involvement is crucial as we move forward. We see our campus development as a partnership with you—our devoted families.
What to Expect at the Meeting
At the SCA Business Meeting, we will address several important topics that matter to our school community. Together, we will explore:
Parent Survey Results: We will present findings from recent surveys conducted to capture the opinions, praises, and concerns of our families.
SCA Budget/Financial Review: You will get an overview of our current financial status. Last year, we managed to operate within budget, ensuring every dollar was used efficiently to enhance student learning.
2025/26 Tuition/Re-enrollment: We will discuss necessary tuition adjustments and detail the re-enrollment process for returning families to ensure smooth transitions.
Roadmap to Accreditation: Expect updates on our journey toward achieving full accreditation. This milestone is critical as it affects academic standards and gives our students more opportunities.
Growth of High School: Insight into our plans for expanding high school offerings will be shared.
Technology, Music, Arts: Learn about exciting advancements in these key areas that enrich our students' education.
Dual Enrollment with Liberty University: We will provide information about our dual enrollment partnership, enabling high school students to earn college credits.
Internships: Discover opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and prepare for future careers.
Integration of Classes and Athletics within Seaside Athletic Center: We will explain our plans to create a unified environment that fosters both academic and athletic excellence.
We hope at least one member from each family will be present. Everyone is welcome; however, please be aware that no childcare will be provided. This will take place at SCA as long as space allows. (Held offside if needed TBD.) Please rsvp by 1/6/25.
